We don’t like to call any of our eyewear cheap glasses because we don’t let anyone leave our office with glasses that are anything less than stylish and spot-on accurate. But, we do offer a cheap glasses package for folks on a budget. This includes one of our select frames, single vision ophthalmic plastic lenses, and a standard anti-scratch coating, all for $150. These are cheap glasses in the sense that they are a simpler version of some of our fancier options.

These cheap glasses are not “cheap” in a couple of ways. First, every cheap glasses package includes professional measurements and frame adjustments by a skilled optician so you can get the full optical effect and comfort of the prescription that your doctor intended. Second, the lenses are created on the same million dollar instruments and machinery that create our digital-freeform lenses. So unlike cheap glasses from other sources, the frames will be fit to your face correctly, and the lenses will be made with better accuracy as they are cut by the same precision tool as the more expensive lenses instead of just having the prescription ground into the back of a lens like the majority of cheap glasses on the market.

The frames available for the cheap glasses package are cheap with respect to price, but not in the quality of the frame. No, you won’t find our handmade Japanese frames or our titanium frames in the selection for the cheap glasses package. But we have selected frames that combine style and value for this cheap eyeglass package. The package also comes with an anti-scratch coating standard.

We are only able to offer these cheap glasses to folks paying in full at the time of service. This is because, at the price we’re selling them, we can’t afford to be sending out bills to patients or insurance companies and waiting for payment. Since they are priced as a package, we are not able to offer upgrades to individual elements of the cheap glasses package and the offer can not be combined with other discounts. The only change we can make to the package is a switch from regular ophthalmic plastic to polycarbonate lenses for children due to the better impact resistance and safety of polycarbonate. The price for the polycarbonate cheap glasses package is $200.

Note that you will need a prescription from your eye doctor to purchase glasses at our office. If your last prescription is expired, you can schedule your eye exam online or call our office with any questions.
